NOT a good way to wake up, no? My first thought as I woke was how this lucid dream is so going to be a bad omen. And hey, I just knew it!
Got lumped (not with moneyh!) with so many ad hoc jobs that I swore my brain was on auto must-finish-each-item-in-30-mins mode. Which is… good, I suppose, considering I managed to clear ‘em up pretty fast so I wouldn’t be at the end of the Scary Lady’s jabs yet again.

Anyway, abingdon boys school’s new single is out! LIKE, FINALLY. Sounds awesomely better than their previous idontevenrememberthetitle single. This is probably the only nicest thing to come out of Jrock-dom this week

Moving Forward to Greater Productivity…
.. and even better sneakiness. This is my third relocation and I’m kinda digging it although this place is colder than the little corner I sat in before.
Yes, definitely a plus point when you get a desk which faces your boss(es) and the angle of the screen enables you to sneakily open non-work related websites/applications. Mwahah.

On the sadder side of life, I hope they/we manage to crease over this crisis as gently as possible. I’ve personally went through a lot of intentional and severe breakups with good friends. I hated it but I did it so I could move on with the people I most trusted in.
I HONESTLY don’t want us to go through that but since some people can’t be forced or coerced, let’s neither push nor give up. Because I’m sure you or they or heck anybody wouldn’t like other people nosing into private matters.

As if today wasn’t hectic enough, she just had to blast me over something as trivial as ONE goddamn typo! I know it was my mistake, but can’t you be a bit more understanding instead of condemning ET’s - my hardwork?! If my QC was so horrible, I’d have purposely not triple checked it before sending it out to you ingrates. It’s human error la stupid! Makcik tu sendiri pun banyak kali salah sebelum ni, it’s just that all her employees are afraid to tegur her.
This babi hutan is memang one super-old-unsatisfied-anak-dara-tua who is well reknowned for her kuku besi ways. Damn ruined my day man. So fuck her. Fuck the world. I ain’t gonna dwell on this anymore.

Bitter Reminder
Tried so hard to avoid any ‘news’ about the Kpop concert in Singapore this week. Little did I know that I’m not even safe at work.
Ada la pulak showtimes for KFF (Korean Film Festival) running in conjuction with the festival…. Celaka.
Attitude Gets You Nowhere
I hate being under pressure. But at least after taking a direct shot from the Big Kahuna (*urk*), the work does get done. Eventually. Yeah, I know my leadership abilities suck.
But damn the shittiest of all hells for this horrible day today. It’s just so hard to work with difficult people (I know coz I myself am a pain to my bosses). But wtf lah if your own team member doesn’t understand or appreciate the team. C’mon man, think about us also mar!
I seldom get snarky or verbally lash at my colleagues but I seriously broke my first record lah today. Heck, what would you have done if your male colleague starts mumbling under his breath and pays no heed to words of advise your senior or manager gives?
My short temper was triggered as he talked back to Kak Bailah when she asked him why he still had unfinished work at 7 o’clock in the evening. Which HELLLLOOOO showtimes is bloody serious business which should’ve already been settled by then so why the hell couldn’t he think we were worried?!
We assumed that the showtimes were done and we were all ready to go home. The most COURTEOUS thing he could’ve done was to TELL us EARLIER that his part wasn’t finished yet. Then we could’ve gotten down and finish the damn job together so we could ALL go back faster. That’s what a team does dammit!!
His issue was simple. He didn’t let anyone know he was struggling with it. ALWAYS update the team because no matter what, whatever pile of shit you did wrong will inevitably become OUR pile of shit too. So when you get scolded, you FIND a way to resolve it.
No way was he supposed to treat us like shit. No way in fucking hell was he allowed to show attitude then get up and leave the office with us gaping there staring at his abrupt dismissal of responsibility!
So it’s OUR problem that we scold him for not telling us? So it’s OUR problem for waiting and expecting something we THOUGHT was done?
Grow a conscience, dude. People work under pressure and strive to succeed. We don’t try to dig ourselves into an even bigger abyss.
Raya ‘Preparation’
Shiet. One more week before I go on leave. And I’ve got less than 5 days to train my team members to cover my workload during my holiday. Baru lah aku merasa stress menge-pass keje dekat orang lain. Nampak sangat selama ni aku monopolise, ek? Oops!

Gawd, I hope my load will be lighter soon. Although… after my recent ‘good fortune’ looks like I’ll be picking up more ’senior’ duties *hint hint*. And this means I really have to start ironing out my financial issues (or lack of it due to nonexistent planning).

O-kay. In today’s meeting, WebOps (our Web Operations team) was the first department to be subjected to the torture of a nail-biting, nerve-wrecking and juice-squeezing quiz.
Part 1 of a total of three pop quizzes spanning over the coming weeks, this afternoon’s theme was: “Know Your Malaysian Cinemas.”
Next week’s is “Know Your Cinema Online Magazine and Website.”
The final topic will be “2007 and 2008 Blockbuster Movies in Malaysia.”

Boooo~ I couldn’t follow Kak Bailah and Farah to Pavilion today (they went to eat ddukbogi). It’s a good thing I decided to go home after lunch at Saji with the CinemaOnliners. Because my stomachache got worse… 물똥했어요. I shyte-ed like never before T_T
A bad day it has been for me it was. This and the booking error boo-boo that SERIOUSLY scared the shyte out of me. Pun intended. Mr Chan and Encik Naza, you are my saviours ♥.

My colleague, Ria, insisted us to watch this “Death Note” parody. The interviewer is Kusanagi Tsuyoshi (”The Sinking of Japan”) and I took a long time to figure who the fat kid was. After Googling it turned out to be…. Goro Inagaki! If you don’t remember him, he’s the kuku besi sensei that wanted to expel Nakatsu in “HanaKimi”.

Yesterday, Cinema Online and Cinnamon the Lion visited the Metrowealth Cineplex in Kajang for a cinema tour (my first!). Had the chance to finally meet the man from our nightmare, for us in Showtimes Dept, the person we’d have to call to remind them to send us their showtimes schedule: Mr Tong. It was a… well, surprise to find out that he’s actually the General Manager *gasp*.
We were treated free, with free popcorn heheh, to that Pierre Andre movie, “9 September”. The movie was slightly bearable if only due to the wonderful ending. Yet out of courtesy to Mr Tong and to show respect to the Sarawakian journalists (they were also invited and sat behind us) I *tried* to laugh at the jokes.
After that, we were treated to a Hi-Tea buffet at the Lemon Restaurant (owned by Metrowealth’s CEO) where stars typically hangout for functions or etc. The place looks great, food was so-so and the Ice Lemon Tea was yummmmmy.

Harry Potter 5 opened yesterday. and i didn’t get to watch it <_<. my reservation’s not until this Sunday *waits with bated breath*. meanwhile, i never expected to hear my brother praising the movie *gasp*. i MUST enjoy HP5 no matter what the reviews say.
know what? there’s a WAP site for a certain telco that lets you book cinema tickets for “Harry Pothead* and the Order of the Phoenix”. puahah. sounds like an interesting movie. a typo? nope. apparently an intruder ‘accessed’ the system then played around and decided to sign up for Anti-Potter FC instead of Dumbledore’s Army. and i thought only Americans were this ‘inspired’. would you believe that someone in Malaysia hates Harry this much? tsktsk. only happened today tho. the system has returned back to normal. yet i wonder what those who encountered this fluke had in mind.
had dinner with my family at 1Utama. we braved the traffic jam and full parkings and Rela members (and police) in time to arrive in the last couple of hours before J-Card Day ends. just so i can jostle between frenzied shoppers for new pairs of lingerie and zip back out within 1/2 an hour. no time to see anything else. not even the cheap handbags T_T. bah. there’s 2 more weeks to the Mega Sale. long enough to prepare for some proper shopping.

employment status
last friday was my first day of work at CinemaOnline. and i think i left a lasting impression on them >_< a not so good impression, tho.
you know how your employers and colleagues will remember some idiotic things about how you start out in the company? well my ‘idiotic thing’ (and Farah’s, for that matter) was our…. color-coded and matching clothes: purple baju, black footwear, black handbag and tudungs of a same pattern (hers was white but it has rhinestones on the border AND we wore it the same way)!
thankfully, everyone was merciful about the whole situation and didn’t pick on us. guh. i was actually afraid they’d execute a ‘Company Tradition’ aka the DREADED ragging. *nervous laugh* who knows, maybe tomorrow..?
all in all, i like it there 
everyone is very close to each other. prolly because they go late-nights together, as Kak Bailah always tells us.
on another subject of employment, Tasha revealed her shock at being told that i am leaving Kpop Kingdom. apparently, before i reached Kingdom office on saturday, Eeza broke the news to her and Nwar. and just then.. i realised how bad and selfish i am when i didn’t even remember telling them about my resignation. eep. mian~ i feel like an a.hole! >_< i feel bad enough for making them both wait so long. sigh.
